HCT Indonesia is committed to building a healthy, transparent, and highly ethical business environment. As part of our efforts to become a trusted Testing and Calibration Laboratory, we provide a Whistleblowing System (WBS). This facility serves as an official channel for all stakeholders to report alleged violations of law, fraud, breaches of the code of ethics, and conflicts of interest occurring within HCT Indonesia.

To ensure objectivity, our WBS is managed professionally by upholding the principles of anonymity, independence, and accessibility. Every report will be thoroughly reviewed and followed up in accordance with Company procedures, applicable regulations, and the principle of presumption of innocence.

Confidentiality and Whistleblower Protection

We provide full protection to every whistleblower against any form of threat, intimidation, or retaliatory action that may cause harm. We guarantee the confidentiality of your identity, whether you choose to disclose your identity or report anonymously.

However, it should be noted that protection and confidentiality do not apply if:

  1. The submitted report is unfounded or contains false evidence (defamation).
  2. The whistleblower intentionally discloses the substance of the report to external parties, thereby potentially revealing their own identity.

Report criteria to ensure your report can be processed effectively, please make sure the information provided fulfills the 5W+1H elements:

  • What: What violation occurred?
  • Who: Who are the parties involved?
  • Where: Where did the incident take place?
  • When: When did the incident occur?
  • How: How did the incident happen and is there any supporting evidence?

Categories of violations that can be reported

HCT Indonesia is committed to following up on every report related to misconduct in the workplace. Below are the categories of violations that can be reported through the Whistleblowing System (WBS).

Fraudulent Acts (Fraud)

Acts of misconduct or intentional disregard of integrity carried out to deceive, cheat, or manipulate the company, customers, or third parties. This includes actions that cause financial loss or provide unlawful benefits to the perpetrator, including but not limited to:

  1. Fraud;
  2. Deception;
  3. Misappropriation of assets;
  4. Corruption;
  5. Bribery;
  6. Prohibited gratuities;
  7. Economic extortion;
  8. Money laundering;
  9. Manipulation of financial statements;
  10. And other types of corporate crimes.

Code of Ethics Violations

Any form of behavior that is inconsistent with the company’s culture and values. This includes actions that undermine the standards of professionalism and integrity that should serve as guidelines for every company employee in making decisions and taking actions, including:

  1. Disclosure of confidential company information to unauthorized parties;
  2. Abuse of authority or actions that damage the company’s reputation.

Conflict of Interest Violations

A situation in which a person, in carrying out their duties, has personal, family, or external interests that may interfere with objectivity. As a result, decisions made are no longer based on the interests of the company, but rather for the benefit of certain parties.

Legal Violations

Actions that are contrary to the laws and regulations applicable within the territory of the Republic of Indonesia.
